World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is a vital aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enhancements.
They also provide bonuses and improvements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects and some even have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and that it meets certain requirements. A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then reforged to add different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can be applied simultaneously and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage a weapon can cause.
It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other equipment. This will increase DPS. More inspiring ideas is particularly applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, or in loot drops or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases the armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for all types of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by a small amount. Certain upgrade components, however can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is particularly the case when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For example, they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, like cutting down on the amount of damage sustained when wearing armor, or giving you a a chance to dodge attacks.
Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains an incredibly fair that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The reality is that certain armors have very significant increases in poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for certain builds. There are many other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new effect tier, and can be re-used to increase the potency.
The potions also have an individual color, which can be set by the player via the /give. This color will affect the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness have been added. This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more common. This trinket at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more common and gives each floor a A% chance that it will contain an ebony-colored replica. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a small amount of energy.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to affect the dungeon and increase the likelihood of producing water and grass. At its current level, this trinket will make X% of floors become filled with grass or water, but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
The item, which appears like eyes of a newt, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond just decreasing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health gained by drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X%, and grants mind sight on enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will affect the trinket which is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the Trinket for as many times as you wish, however it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you forged it.
You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the trinkets power by a small amount.
